Major Changes Proposed in the 2024 Budget

There is a major changed proposed in the 2024 budget that everyone needs to know about - particularly if you drive a vehicle.

The first major proposed change is that Mandatory Accident Benefits coverage will apply only to medical, rehabilitation, and attendant care benefits. This means that all other weekly benefits, which are currently standard in every policy, such as income replacement benefits, non-earner benefits, housekeeping benefits, and caregiver benefits will be eliminated for most accident victims, unless they have purchased optional benefits.
